Our tour includes information about WAGGGS and the four World Centres, the World Chief Guide and the history of Pax Lodge. You can explore the different rooms of the Centre, sign the guest book and visit the souvenir shop. Don’t forget to bring a patch to add to our Badge and Pin World Map!
A tour will take approximately 45 minutes. There is no limit to the number of visitors, although large groups may be split. The Centre is wheelchair accessible.
If you have some extra time:
- don’t forget to purchase your Pax Lodge pin, which is only available to those who visit Pax Lodge.
- become an official visitor of Pax Lodge through a pinning ceremony put together by our international group of volunteers.
- experience a traditional British Cream Tea of scones, jam, cream and tea.
- join our staff and volunteer team for lunch or dinner. Lunch is served at 13:00 and dinner is served at 18:00.
- participate in an international Guiding themed programme led by our current Resident Volunteers.
Tours of Pax Lodge are offered from 9:30 to 12:30 and 14:00 to 16:30 most days.
A payment of £1.00 per visitor is required.
