Marhaba! "Hi" My name is Nour. I'm from Aleppo-Syria. I've been in scouting for 14 years and now I'm a leader for girl guides. I'm 22 years old and I graduated last summer from the University - Department of Archaeology. Being a girl guide has made a really big difference in my life and it's something I don't ever imagine stop doing.
I'm a resident volunteer here. I have to say before I arrived I was so afraid and worried but now I'm amazed! It's the most friendly and beautiful place to work and live in! I thought that I'll miss my friends back home, but now I know I'll miss my friends here when I go back home!

G’day mate! Hi, my name is Bec and I am a 21 year old chick from Melbourne, Australia. I have been involved in guiding for nearly seventeen years when I started as a five year old Gumnut guide. I am a leader of a Dolphin guide unit and I am extremely excited and proud to have been given this amazing opportunity to work as a Resident Volunteer at Pax Lodge.
Meeting and becoming friends with different people from all over the world is what I am looking forward to the most. I can’t wait to discover the beauty and history of the UK and Europe.

Hello, Kay here. I’m from Duluth, Minnesota, USA. I’ve been involved in Scouting for many years as a Brownie Scout and Leader. I am married with 3 grown daughters and recently retired to accept this wonderful opportunity at Pax Lodge.I was thrilled to come to London and to be able to get to know Scouts and Guides from all over the world. I plan to bring back stories of my adventures to share with Scouts so that they will be inspired to consider this great opportunity.

Hi! I'm Elena and I'm from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I've been in Girl Guides for 17 years - From Spark to Leader. I am currently at the University of Western Ontario studying Geomorphology and Hydrology.
I first learned about Pax Lodge and all the world centers as a Brownie, and as I got older, I was encouraged to apply to volunteer by my leaders and fellow Guiders. It was excellent advice. I'm a Resident Volunteer now and could not be happier! I love meeting Guides and Scouts from around the world, and what better place to do it than Pax Lodge!
