Hi! I’m Teresa, I’m 23 years old and I’m fromArgentina! I have been involved with a scout-guide community called Nuestra Senora de Lourdes which is located in Bahia Blanca for 10 years, but 5 years ago I moved to Buenos Aires to study Industrial Design and I joined other scout-guide community called Francisca Javier Cabrini located in the neighborhood Flores, Capital Federal. I made my leader promise there and started working with the CARAVANA. I really enjoy nature, camping and playing games with the girls!
In my free time I love hanging out with my friends (I have a lot), my boyfriend and my family. I like the company and enjoy taking with them and sharing a few “mates”. I also like to watch many TV series, painting and drawing!
I hope to make many friends at Pax Lodge. It is very interesting to share cultures and spend time with people from all over the world! Also they will help me to improve my English.

Hey! My name is Jessica and I come from Upper Hutt, 40 mins north of Wellington in New Zealand. (Yes, I am a kiwi and proud of it!) I am 18 years old, having just finished College (High School) and Rangers, the highest section of GirlGuiding. In New Zealand we are split into two organizations, GirlGuiding and Scouting. I started in Brownies when my friend brought me along one night when I was 7 ½ and have never looked back since. I have now completed my Queens Guide Award (the highest award in Guiding) and my Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.
When I get home I am headed off to Victoria University in Wellington while living at home to study History, Politics and Cultural Anthropology. In the meantime however I am living up the winter and spring here in London until the end of May 2012!
At home I work at my local movie theatre doing similar jobs to at Pax Lodge, and I also am a coffee maker there. In my spare time I love to spend time with friends, reading, watching movies, camping, walking in the mountains and travelling.
At Pax Lodge I am excited to meet all the different cultures and accents and explore Guiding and Scouting from other parts of the world, and can’t wait to take all my experiences home with me and improve Guiding in my own area.
