The Resident Volunteer role at Pax Lodge is a voluntary position for 2 to 5 months.
There are many Resident Volunteers at Pax Lodge at any one time and they work throughout Pax Lodge doing various tasks.
Duties include:
- Housekeeping task (cleaning, bed making and laundry)
- Kitchen tasks (cooking, serving, dishes and cleaning)
- Providing tours to visitors at Pax Lodge
- Organising programmes and events
- Helping in the souvenir shop
- Helping in reception, answering the telephone and assisting guests
Deadline for applications
15 April and 15 October.
Who can apply
The Resident Volunteer role is open to active members of WAGGGS, aged 18 to 25 years. Board and lodging is provided within Pax Lodge and a small weekly allowance.
