Scholarships

We are always striving to have more diversity in our international events, seminars and volunteer team. We want to give more opportunities to Girl Guides and Girl Scouts from the Arab, Africa, and Asia Pacific regions to come to Pax Lodge. In order to fulfill our mission and deliver programmes for people from around the world we offer volunteer positions to young women ages 18 to 25 from our 145 Member Organizations.

Our volunteer programme helps those young women to gain life skills, work experience, international understanding and learn about themselves and the World Association in greater detail for periods between two to six months. During this time, they receive free board and lodging. They currently have to cover their own transportation costs. This has always been easier for those that come from wealthier countries, but is often a big obstacle for those from less privileged backgrounds. Therefore, we have started to try and raise funds to support volunteers from these countries.
