Marketing and Communications Intern
We are looking for someone to assist the staff, particularly the Deputy World Centre Manager, on executing our Marketing and Communications plan for the current calendar year, as well as assisting in developing next year’s plan. It is an opportunity to help raise the profile of the Centre and to ensure it's events and services are well publicised.
This role gives the intern the chance to gain relevant work experience in the field of Marketing and Communications while meeting people your own age from around the world.
Who can apply
The Marketing and Communications role is open to active members of WAGGGS, aged 21 years and over.
You should have experience working in Marketing, PR, or Communications and with an advanced knowledge and understanding of computers and social media.
An intermediate – advanced level of English is required and knowledge of additional languages is desirable.
Deadline for applications
Applications are accepted and placements made on an ongoing basis throughout the year. We aim to place people 6-9 months in advance and strongly advise you apply at least 9 months before you hope to volunteer.
