Pax Lodge has a world map in the dining room that is used to keep a record of the guests who visit during the year. We invite all guest to place a pin on the world map to show where they are from. In addition we ask guests who are visiting to bring a badge, patch or pin to place around the world map. We receive badges that relate to all aspects of guiding; emblems of units or troops, country or area badges, special trip or holiday badges, fundraising badges and many more.
All our visitors and guests admire the badges, as they are kept proud of place in our dining room. At the end of the year we keep a record of what we have received and take a photo of the map. The badges are either kept for display or sold to visitors to help raise money for the upkeep of the building. If you are coming to visit us please remember to place a pin on our map and bring a badge along for our collection.
