Pax Lodge experiencing telephone difficulties

Pax Lodge has been affected by the recent flood and fire at BT exchange in Paddington, London. Our World Centre has been experiencing disruption to telephone and some broadband connections.

Following yesterday’s fire at BT’s London North Paddington building, BT and the emergency services have worked through the night to gain access to the site and restore power.

BT exchange can confirm that power via emergency generators has now been restored to the building and transmission equipment. Although reestablishment of power has been gradual, with some call routing now back in service, it is possible that continued disruption in the form of congestion, or calls being routed to incorrect destinations, could be experienced.
